@dickturpin Jaiku was a social network with threaded comments etc. It was then acquired by Google who killed it. Elements of Jaiku are in G+

@mjjzf You could say Tumblr/Posterous was just as good for the media content but here's the thing. identi.ca folk generally 'like' Google.
